The Queen, accompanied by The Royal Family, will unveil a memorial to Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother on Tuesday 24th February 2009 on the Mall.

On December 3rd, 2008, Queen Elizabeth II formally opened a new session of Parliament in London, England. In this annual ceremony, the monarch reads a speech from the throne in the House of Lords. The speech is written by the Prime Minster's staff and outlines the government's legislative plan and policy for the coming year.

Windsor, here was today the procession of the Order of the Garter with Prince William this time as the 1000 st member of the honourable Order of the Garter.
The walked from Windsor castle to the St. George Chapel and by carriages back to the castle.
